Process
Deck Phenom designs your deck from the ground up with your needs in mind. We use a 3D modeling program to lay out your new deck, creating a realistic, high-resolution image of what the deck will look like. This 3D model is at the proper elevation, includes the materials we plan to use, and It even includes an approximate layout of the back of your home — meaning you can see exactly how your new deck will look in its setting.
After consulting with the homeowner and visiting the site, we construct a 3D model of the home and of the deck that the homeowners dreamed of. Simulating the way the finished deck would look on the back of the house allows the homeowners to truly see it, instead of just having to imagine or rely on pencil-and-paper drawings. 
The finished deck reflects not only the layout of the model, but the wood used. Our software allows us to precisely edit the colors and grains of the woods we’ll eventually use to construct your deck, creating a strong sense of realism.
Our initial planning meetings with you are the most important phases of the design. These meetings are where we learn about what you want, and how you plan to use your new deck. And unlike other companies, we use this information to plan and design each and every one of our decks. For example, if you have children, we’ll use child-safe materials and design railings to take kids into account.
